Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground venison
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 jar marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 12 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, brown venison with onion and garlic. Add marinara sauce and red wine. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta, egg, Parmesan, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- In a baking dish, layer noodles, venison sauce, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella. Repeat until all ingredients are used, ending with mozzarella.
- Bake for 45 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
