- 1 lb ground venison
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
- 1 can kidney beans, drained (14.5 oz)
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup beef broth
- Shredded cheese and sour cream for garnish
Method:
- In a large pot, sauté the onion and garlic until soft.
- Add the ground venison and cook until browned.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper, and beef broth.
- Simmer for 30-45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve in small shot glasses, topped with shredded cheese and a dollop of sour cream.
