Ingredients:
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 4 oz brie cheese, cut into small cubes
- 6 oz ground venison
- 2 tbsp fig jam
- 1 egg, beaten
Method:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 12 squares.
- In a skillet, brown the ground venison over medium heat.
- Place a cube of brie and a teaspoon of venison in the center of each puff pastry square.
- Add a small dollop of fig jam.
- Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling and seal.
- Brush with beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
